If speech is what separates us from the beasts, then the more we master it the more human we become. Equally, the less we are able to articulate our thoughts, the less morally and politically significant we appear. 

Si el habla es lo que nos separa de las bestias, entonces cuanto más dominemos hablar más humanos nos volvemos. Igualmente, cuanto menos podamos articular nuestros pensamientos, menos significativos moral y políticamente nos mostramos.
